The start of the semester always reminds me of New Year, why? I hear you ask. As I see all those keen faces walk through the door I am reminded of how many of them made it one of their ambitions for the year to start or improve their English, which then gets me thinking about New Year’s resolutions. Those promises we make to ourselves and have been making to ourselves since Babylonian times.
Almost 2 months have passed and I wonder how many of your resolutions you have kept. Of the 41% of people who make a resolution, only 56% will keep it for 6 months and 19% for one year. Let’s hope you keep at least one resolution, to study and improve your English, for the whole year. In the next Blog we will look how to keep your motivation and interest so that you can be one of the 19%.
Here are the top 10 for the U.S – how many are yours?
